Welcome to Zuhud. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zuhud application and website (the "Service"), operated by Zuhud ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using Zuhud, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. Your Account

When you create an account or join the waitlist, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended use as a prayer accountability tool. You agree not to:

5. Groups and Community

Zuhud allows you to create and join prayer accountability groups. By joining a group, you acknowledge that your prayer check-in activity will be visible to other members of that group. You are responsible for the groups you create and the members you invite. We reserve the right to remove groups or users that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code within the Service — including the Zuhud name, logo, and visual identity — are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Zuhud is a productivity and accountability tool — we make no religious or spiritual guarantees.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zuhud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at zuhudapp@gmail.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
